Building Strong Foundations Through Youth Discipleship

The Lord continues to faithfully grow His work among the youth of the Redland community and the college students living at Casa Crista in Malaybalay, Bukidnon. What began through simple conversations, outreach efforts, and relationships has developed into a thriving discipleship ministry centered on God’s Word.

Every two weeks, young people gather together to study Scripture, pray, encourage one another, and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Guided by mature believers and supported by young leaders who are passionate about serving the Lord, these Bible study gatherings provide a place where faith can grow and spiritual foundations can be strengthened.

More than simply gaining biblical knowledge, the youth are learning how to apply God’s truth in their daily lives. Through consistent teaching, discipleship, and accountability, they are being equipped to follow Christ with sincerity, conviction, and unwavering faith.

Learning the Power of Prayer and Christian Fellowship

Alongside biblical teaching, prayer has become a central part of these discipleship gatherings. The youth are learning how to seek God’s guidance personally, intercede for others, and trust Him through every season of life.

These times of prayer have created an atmosphere of encouragement, healing, and spiritual growth. As burdens are shared and hearts are united before the Lord, the young people are discovering the strength that comes from a life rooted in prayer and dependence upon God.

Christian fellowship has also become an important part of their spiritual journey. Through shared meals, meaningful conversations, and authentic relationships, friendships are being formed that reflect the love, unity, and grace found in Christ. These simple moments of gathering together are helping create a supportive faith community where young believers can grow together.

Raising the Next Generation of Christian Leaders

Through regular Bible studies, prayer meetings, fellowship events, and team-building activities, the Lord is doing more than developing individuals. He is building a Christ-centered community rooted in truth, strengthened by love, and united in purpose.

The team-building experiences have encouraged the youth to work together, support one another, and understand the importance of serving as one body in Christ. As their relationships deepen, so does their desire to live out their faith and become positive influences within their families, schools, and communities.

This ongoing work is a testimony to God’s faithfulness. It is not sustained by human effort alone, but by His grace and His Spirit working through willing hearts. As discipleship continues to grow in Malaybalay, there is great hope that God is raising up a generation of young believers who are firmly rooted in His Word, equipped to serve others, and prepared to lead for His glory.
